The mission trip to Door of Faith Orphanage (about 1 hour south of the US/Mexico border) is planned for Sunday, June 7th - Saturday, June 13th.

There are various projects planned both at the orphanage as well as in and around the community. We are looking for people who love the Lord and are willing to represent Christ's love to the kids and people we meet and who are healthy enough to do some physical labor, if required.
Families are welcome to attend. Youth must be 8th grade or older, and younger children will need to have a parent accompany them.
All participants over 18 (at time of trip) must have a LiveScan completed and on file with CCC. You will be contacted if there is no record on file.
The cost is $400/person and includes food, housing and transportation. This fee needs to be paid prior to the trip departure date (April 13th).

Genesis Hope South Africa is an outreach ministry of the Norwegian Settlers Church, which is located in Port Shepstone, KwaZulu Natal, South Africa. Their vision is to take the church outside its' walls by serving their communities holistically, meeting physical, social, emotional and spiritual needs that are associated with extreme poverty and other social issues.

When: February 2027
Where: Port Shepstone, South Africa where we will be working with Genesis Hope (ministry of Norwegian Settlers Church)
What: Playing, teaching and ministering to the children at various Safe Place Facilities and the Khula Community Preschool. You can also minister at a hospice/hospital, an orphanage for abandoned babies, a surf ministry, youth ministry, music ministry and gym ministry if you are interested.
We may have a fun day on the beach or do an excursion ($$$) to an animal reserve (has the longest + fastest zipline in the southern hemisphere) or to the Durban Shark Encounter.
On Sunday, we will attend church at Norwegian Settlers Church where Trevor Downham is the pastor (one or more may have an opportunity to share).
How: The trip will cost approximately $3,000. Flight will likely be thru Dubai where you will have a chance to go downtown for a few hours, spend the night near the airport and fly to Durban, South Africa the next morning (approx. 22-24 hours in air plus layovers for connecting flights).
Who: Pastor George Ripley is leading the trip. $500 deposit to hold a spot.
